Also if we’re talking Asian action, the the long take hammer sequence from Oldboy deserves mention. It’s all done in one long single take and a lot of it is improvised as a result. Also a lot of dudes got actually injured.

I like The Killer better than Hard Boiled because of its extra insane plot and the church shootout at the end.
