yeah. someone asked for a gif of gohan getting his ass kicked and i wanted to keep it short.

i could definitely make a longer one that's a lot more violent.

i can't help but work on ambitious animations instead of easy stuff. i've got one in the pipeline that may involve combining footage from 5 or so episodes.

Here's where I could use some help. Premiere doesn't support .mkv files, so if I download one of those I have to convert it first. I've done this once before, using VLC (or was it Avidemux? I forget) to convert it to h.264 mp4.

I've got a different video now where this isn't working. I've tried both of the above programs. Depending on the method I use, it'll either output a video that doesn't play, or one that Premiere sees as audio tracks only, even if I selected to output video before converting.

I'll google for some other solutions, but would appreciate suggestions if anyone has one.

It doesn't have to be h.264. Premiere supports a ton of video formats, but mkv isn't one of them.

i got it figured out. just needed the right combination of settings in avidemux.

nice, i figured out how to strip out the audio tracks in avidemux while converting the video format, since i don't use the audio anyway.

ok, now begins the long, difficult editing process. i've got about 2 hours of footage i'm working with that i'm gonna edit down for length. this will probably be my most difficult project yet.
