these are all good ideas but i feel that Reginald's quest for sexual self acceptance should be more of an over-arching leitmotif during his ascendance to glory
You're right. I was thinking about building the rock opera around his quest for resolution of his sexual frustration, and then slowly shift the focus away from it during the novelette (part 2), but I think it'd work better as an overarching theme. Great idea!
