All the serious theories regarding the extinction of the megalodon are stupid imo, some paleontologists believe that it got extinct because of great white sharks or killer whales. This is dumb because megalodon was competing with others giant sharks and large raptorial toothed whales during millions of years and it was still the king of the ocean.

My theory is that megalodon was removed from the seas & oceans by aliens and it is now in an higher dimension. Aliens are not from space, they come from another dimension, build underwater bases and send drones (UFOs) to spy on humanity. They deleted megalodon because it kept destroying their bases, preventing them from achieving their goals.

Also a new study came out recently and it confirmed that megalodon was longer than previously thought.
